Britney arrived in London on Thursday for a quick two-day visit, during which time she’ll do several interviews, perfomances on Top Of The Tops, and the much-anticipated Frank Skinner chat-show.
Upon arriving in London she went on a shopping spree in Knightsbridge where she was looking at jewlery and clothes, and then went for a stroll in Hide Park – accompanied at all times by security guards. The interview with Frank Skinner is due to be aired on the UK’s ITV1 Network on Saturday 26th January at 9:35pm. Don’t miss it!
Meanwhile Monday 21 St January sees the release of Britney’s new single, “Overprotected”, in the UK.
Britney Spears will give her very first UK chat show interview late January. The pop babe, 20, is set to appear on ITV1 on comedian Frank Skinner’s show.
The show should be a lot of fun, especially after the way she performed in the US in Saturday Night Live. Frank Skinner had a number one hit in 1996 with song “Three Lions” – the England football song. So – could we see Frank and Britney doing a duet?
Be sure to watch the show to find out…..

Written and produced by Alanis in both Canada (writing and demoing) and Los Angeles (subsequent tracking, layering and mixing), these 11 songs were created with her playing both acoustic and electric guitar and keyboards and were written in a very stream-of-consciousness accelerated way…UNDER RUG SWEPT ranges from the guitar-heavy ’21 Things I Want In A Lover’ and the unapologetic expression of frustration, humanness and humor of ‘Narcissus,’ to the subtle rhythmic grooves of the self-affirming declaration ‘So Unsexy’ and ‘ou Owe Me Nothing In Return,’ to the expansive balladry of ‘Flinch’ and ‘That Particular Time,’ which strides the mysterious divide between men and women in the hope of establishing and sustaining a genuine connectedness.

Kym Marsh from the British pop group Hear’Say is the subject of much speculation today as to whether or not she will leave the band. Kym, 25, is reported to have clashed with band-mate Myleene Klass on several occasions, although the two have denied this when asked about it on television.
Hear’Say are signed to Polydor records, and talks will take place this week to determine the band’s future.
More info on Pop-Music.com as we get it!Hear’Say were formed early in 2001 by the British version of the show “Pop Stars”. The five members of the band are: Danny Foster, Noel Sullivan, Suzanne Shaw, Kym Klass and Myleene Marsh. The TV show put together the band from obscurity.
The band’s first single, Pure and Simple, was a Number One hit, and the debut album also reached number one.
Almost 5 months after the tragic plane crash which killed actress and pop singer Aaliyah, she has topped the UK Singles chart with her single “More Than A Woman”. The track is taken from her album “Aaliyah”.
New entries in this week’s chart include Addicted To Bass by Puretone, Bad Intentions by Dr Dre and Drifting Away by Lange.
