Dave Meyers, who directed the new TLC video for ‘Girl Talk’, said, speaking to reporters, “is just going to be worldwide, chap. It’s gonna be sexy.”

“It’s going to be a celebration of Lisa, and it’s going to be upbeat, and fun.”

Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins and Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas revealed last weekend that as a tribute to late member Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes, five look-alikes dressed in Lisa Lopes’ signature styles will be featured in the clip.

The New York Post reports a music insider who tells them that Jay-Z and Destiny’s Child star Beyonce Knowles are inching yet closer to getting married.

“They are tighter than ever” said a source. “He just wants to get married now. He’s a one-woman man.”

Britney To Act In Bollywood-like Movie And Covers ‘I’ve Seen All Good People’

The New York Post reports Britney Spears is back clocking in loads of studio time, working on her fourth album.

Apparently, she’s interested in making sure that her cover of Yes’s hit ‘I’ve Seen All Good People’ makes the final cut.

“She has done some demos and is seeing if she can put it on a forthcoming album” a close source revealed.

Meanwhile, it’s said that she is massively interested in acting in a film called ‘Marigold’, which will see her acting opposite a Bollywood actor. Sources say talks are going to be done to have her beat out other Hollywood actresses who are all keen to do this Hollywood-Bollywood production.

Fans Disappointed By Vanessa Carlton’s Behaviour

Vanessa Carlton apparently turned up on stage drunk at one of her gigs and soiled her image. Many fans were left upset.

One wrote “When she was up on stage, it was cool, but she kept acting really weird, like she was drunk and she even said that everybody needed beer.”

“And when she started playing ‘Ordinary Day’, she announced it as ‘Ordinary Fu**in Day’, and ‘A Thousand Fu**ing Miles’.”

“I cried. I’m guessing it’s true you should never meet your favourite person in the world or you’ll be disappointed. Frankly, I don’t know if I see her with the same eyes, and in the same light as I used to.”

Another wrote “Gosh, who is she mixing with? She’s such a let down.”

Missy Elliott Will Bring Out New Aaliyah LP

Missy, who will also appear on upcoming albums by TLC and Whitney Houston, is working behind the scenes and in the studio on a tribute album for her best friend, the late Aaliyah, as well.

“You going to, for sure, hear a new Aaliyah album” she said. “Right now we’re working on getting the artists together.”

“You know, she has a lot of songs she didn’t put on the Aaliyah album, so hopefully we’re going to get the artists to come in and sing the other verse on a song and keep one of her verses so it’ll be like a collaboration thing.”

“I don’t have an exact time frame on it because it’s a lot of artists we’re trying to get for it, but it’ll be soon.”

As for her new solo project, ‘Under Construction’, Missy said she’s pleased that the opus’ first single, ‘Work It’ has become an even bigger smash that her last LP’s ‘Get Ur Freak On’. Jay-Z, TLC, Beyonce Knowles, Ludacris, Method Man, Ms. Jade and Timbaland all helped Missy erect the album, which drops on the 12th of November.

Elton John Collaborates With Blue

Blue and Elton John have teamed up to record a reworked copy of Elton’s 1976 hit ‘Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word’.

It will be released somewhere in December from the band’s next album ‘One Love’, out on the 4th of November.

The video will be shot in early November featuring both Blue and Elton. Anyway, the song also happens to be one of band member Lee’s all time favourite songs.

He said “We are all massive Elton fans, personally he has always been one of my musical heroes. I love him so much. It’s an honour, really to have had the chance to record with him. I have always esteemed the song, it’s so very classic Elton”.

Do Nick Carter And Justin Timberlake Hate Each Other?

In an interview with a webzine, Nick Carter said, on hating and constantly getting compared with Justin Timberlake “No, I don’t hate him. Musicwise,I think, honestly, he wants to do R&B and I want to do rock.”

Nick added “We both have something to prove. He’s got more going for him at the moment, but that’s okay. I want to sweat. I don’t want it to be easy. I don’t want people to necessarily like me in the beginning. I like being the underdog.”

Justin also spoke up saying “I’m totally indifferent about that whole situation. I’m indifferent about him. Obviously, I’ve answered so many questions about my personal life. I wish him the best. As far as anybody comparing the two of us at this point, I feel like it’s kind of lazy. You can tell that we’re two totally different artists. It’s like comparing Coldplay to The Vines.”

Personally, I’ve always found that both Justin Timberlake and Nick Carter can’t seem to stand each other’s guts. And this was way back when they first burst onto the scenes with their groups, N’Sync and the Backstreet Boys respectively. They were like the baby of the groups and I guess the press loved comparing them and making it seem like they hate each other and all. I think that kind of stuck.

Nick Carter’s next single is called ‘Do I Have To Cry For You’ and it might be re-recorded in Spanish.

Jamie Theakston Blasts Natalie Appleton

Jamie Theakston has blasted ex Natalie Appleton for telling all about their relationship in her book.

Jamie has vowed never to read the autobiography, entitled Together, penned by Natalie and sister Nicole, “until it’s short-listed for the Booker Prize”.

Jamie said “I don’t know why people feel forced to write autobiographies. There’s an arrogance in thinking people are interested in your life.”

He added “Some things are romantic but as soon as the world knows about them, they’re not. It is touching when you share moments of intimacy with someone. But to tell the whole country…”

In Together, Natalie reveals details about their 11 month fling in 1999 which began when she met Jamie on a drunken night out.

She says he threw up in a hotel bathroom before trying to snog her. Apparently, he was so drunk he fell through a gap between two single beds. He is also fuming at her suggestion he was envious of her friendship with actor Kevin Spacey.

Shaggy’s Into India.Arie And Prefers Being A Homebody

It’s hard to think that Shaggy and his persona on videos and all don’t match. But apparently they don’t and this comes straight from the horse’s mouth.

“There is certainly the Shaggy persona and the character that I get into. I do have a lot of fun with it. But that’s it.”

“I cannot be Shaggy 24/7. I am the type of person who is more of a homebody. I love to stay at home and I love movies and spending time with close friends.”

“I am definitely not as flamboyant or outgoing as my character.”

Meanwhile, Shaggy reveals that he’s totally into India.Arie.

“At the moment, I am really into the new record by India.Arie. She’s so talented and sings incredibly. All of you guys should hear her if you haven’t that is.”
