Petition To Remove Christina Aguilera’s Video Off MTV

A petition has emerged in an effort to get Christina Aguilera’s new video for ‘Dirrty’ off MTV.

The petition states, “We the normal, civilized people that we are, should ban Christina Aguilera latest slut fest video ‘Dirrty’. This should not be aired to kids on MTV! Some of the things shown in the video are sexual dance moves (Christina pounces up and down on a mans crouch). She is show wearing almost nothing, having girls touch her sexually; She has a big ‘shower scene’ in the video where her and tons of girls are taking a shower almost naked together, rubbing each other suggestively, almost a orgy, nudity (We can see Christina’s butt under a skirt) and the songs content is needless to say dirty.”

Check out the petition, and sign if you agree at the link below http://www.petitiononline.com/cadirrty/petition.html

If you ask me, it’s not that bad really. If you’re bothered about your kids watching it, then turn MTV off or whenever the video comes on. I will definitely sign the petition if it’s shown on Nickolodeon or on Disney.

Michael Jackson’s Charity Single Emerges

Michael Jackson’s forgotten 9/11 charity single ‘What More Can I Give?’ which features guest spots from Britney Spears, the lads from N’Sync, Destiny’s Child and more has finally emerged over a year late.

The track has been on rotation play on New York radio station WKTU-FM for a week. But its appearance does not necessarily signal a release. WKTU-FM have not received permission to broadcast the track, but on the other hand, no one has yet told them to yank it off the air.

Program Director Frankie Blue, a long-time friend of MJ’s, won’t say how he got the song, but he insists Michael had nothing to do with it.

Marc Schaffel, the executive producer of the single, said at least 200 copies were sent to artists who participated and their representatives, and that the song has since surfaced on the Internet.

“It’s a loose train. There’s no stopping it” he told MTV. “But I would hate to see it out there and not do its intended purpose, which was to raise money for the victims of September 11th and children’s charities.”

“Maybe this will give someone the push to put it out” he also added, “because now would be the time. Otherwise, the more it proliferates the more it defeats the purpose, and there’s no way it can raise money.”

Ben Affleck And Diddy Verbal Exchanges

Ben Affleck responded to Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs comments earlier this week where after seeing Ben and Jennifer Lopez making out, Diddy said, “You got to leave that stuff for the bedroom. I wouldn’t be caught dead kissing anyone in the street, even a hottie like J.Lo. The lady has way too much class for that.”

Ben retorted to the diss telling Howard Stern, “Rappers are always rapping about some bullsh**. P. Diddy should stick to what he’s good at. And what is that, by the way?”

Avril Lavigne And Others Set Neckties Trend

Entertainment Weekly profiled the latest fashion craze of men and women wearing neckties with T-shirts that has been popularized by Avril Lavigne, Kelly Osbourne and Michelle Branch.

New York City based stylist Darshan Gress remarked “In essence, you’ve have to have a strong personality to wear it, especially if you’re a girl”.

Stylist Stephanie Wolfe, whose clients include Avril Lavigne remarked, “Avril is antifashion, yet she’s setting fashion trends.”

Robbie WIlliams Breaks Up With Guy

Robbie Williams has split from his song-writer Guy Chambers.

Guy has refused to sign an agreement he would only work with the former Take That star. So that means an end to the partnership which produced the likes of ‘Angels’, ‘Let Me Entertain You’ and ‘Millennium’.

A spokesman for Guy said “Guy has decided to work with other people and on other projects. He feels he cannot commit to working exclusively with Robbie. After six years and five albums he feels it is time to move on.”

“‘Escapology’ is finished and Guy has co-written 12 of the 14 songs. He feels he is bowing out on a creative high.”

Hear’Say’s Danny Foster To Go To India For Exotic Vacation

Hear’Say’s Danny Foster says now that the group has split, he’s also going to fly off England and go to India for an exotic vacation or something.

Chances are he will be travelling for the remainder of the year, where he’ll contemplate his future. His grandad Reggie commented, “He’s looking forward to a rest and getting away from it all. It has been stressful. Something like that always is. Personally, I was always happier listening to him sing karaoke down the pub.”

Blue’s One Love Similar To Previous Hits

If you’ve thought the new offering from Blue, ‘One Love’ sounds pretty much the same kind of material they offered previously, you are right.

According to Duncan, they’ve returned to the tried-and-tested formula of ‘All Rise’ and ‘Fly By’ to make sure fans know who they are.

“We’ve been out of the market for a few months so we wanted people to turn on the radio and think, ‘Blue are back’. We don’t want them to think, ‘Who’s that?'”

But if fans are a bit worried that Blue’s eagerly-anticipated second album will not have developed from last year’s smash-hit, ‘All Rise’, fear not. There are lots of surprises.

“The other singles are going to be different” Lee told, speaking to a webzine. “We’re not going to change our style but on the album there’s a lot of variation. The fans are going to like it.”

“There’s a cover called ‘Don’t Treat Me Like A Fool’ which is from Angie Stone’s first album, ‘Black Diamond'” Duncan revealed. “We’re really pleased about this album. We were working on it the same time as ‘All Rise’. The music is going to be more up-tempo and edgier. We wrote about 90% of it.”

Blue’s new album is released come 11th of November.

Norah Jones On Not Being 100% Jazz

MTV spoke with the Miss India-pretty Norah Jones recently and they asked her what she thought describing her as a jazz artist?

She said “Frankly, I don’t care what people think. I’m on Blue Note Records, which is a huge jazz label, and I got introduced to them when I was primarily more of a jazz artist. I sang jazz standards. That’s all I did.”

“But as we were making our record, I started writing songs and getting into other things. The record didn’t turn out to be much of a jazz record and I know that and they know that. And I don’t claim to be a jazz artist anymore and I don’t claim it to be a jazz record. But people do call it that because of Blue Note I think.”

“It’s not accurate but it doesn’t matter. It’s just music. It shouldn’t be that big a deal. I know true jazz fans don’t like it because they’re like, “No, that’s not jazz,” but whatever. I agree so. Others call me the next Sarah McLachlan. Really, it’s not a big deal. I don’t get upset. If people think that’s jazz, they don’t know… they should listen to Miles Davis and stuff.”

Ashanti Responds To Tweet’s Negative Remarks

Ashanti has responded to Tweet’s negative remarks in Honey magazine. Tweet, apparently believes that Ashanti is not talented and that her record company, Murder Inc. bought all her records just to propel her to the top of the charts.

“I think Tweet is a good artist” Ashanti said. “I am rooting for young black females and males doing positive things and being successful. But as far as her saying she is more original than Ashanti and thinking she is better than me- I mean that’s all good. She’s confident in herself and has her own opinion, great, but I ain’t never gonna bow down to Tweet.”
