Natasha Bedingfield To Jive All The Way To America

Natasha Bedingfield’s debut album Unwritten is out in stores now and she’s told us she can’t quite believe the success she’s having.

She’s performing at Radio 1’s One Big Weekend in Birmingham on Sunday.

BBC Radio One spoke to her on Monday and she said she’s stunned by what’s happening. It’s all kicking off in America too! Natasha has just signed to a major record label across the pond, saying “Jive, which is part of BMG, they’re going to be the company that is releasing me over there. They do Britney and Justin. They know what they’re doing, so that’s rather cool.”

“You know, you have to step back every now and then and take a breath. Oh my goodness look where I am, today is my dream come true, how cool is that?”

Kylie Minogue’s House Hunting In St Tropez

An insider has been telling the Mirror that Kylie Minogue’s been house hunting with actor boyfriend Olivier Martinez in the swanky St Tropez district of Port Grimaud. They said “Kylie really wants a home near St Tropez and so does Olivier. Their pal Johnny Depp has a home up the road and they love the fact that he can enjoy a hassle-free lifestyle there, away from the paparazzi.”

The insider went on to say “They’ve been looking around Port Grimaud, which is a stunning area. Kylie thinks it would be fabulous to have a place on the water, with their yacht moored nearby.”

“This will be the first place they’ve bought together and Kylie wants somewhere really special. A dream home with Olivier, away from London and Paris.”

Beyonce Knowles And The House Of Dereon

Destiny’s Child star Beyonce Knowles and her mother Tina announced the name of their highly anticipated clothing line on Wednesday, The House Of Dereon (pronounced as De – Ron).

The line, named after Tina Knowles’ mother and Beyonce’s grandmother, honors the woman who worked as a seamstress for a living and started Tina’s love of fashion.

The line, inspired by three generations of women who have joined together in a labor of love, is expected to hit stores in Fall 2005. A hip-haute fashion legacy begins while unprecedented anticipation on the part of retailers and consumers continues to build for the debut of the women’s contemporary fashion line.

Beyonce says, “To me, this is the greatest way to enter into the fashion world. Inspired by my grandmother, working with my mother and pursuing a dream we have all had for many years establishing an important fashion company.”

Geri Halliwell performed on stage before switching on the lights at the Blackpool Illuminations in Blackpool, England on Friday September 3rd.

This year marks the 125th anniversary of the illuminations.

Meanwhile, Geri Halliwell is all set to release her new material. The song she’s seen singing in those pictures above is one entitled Ryde It. That’s the lead single off a yet as untitled album. No word on when the single will be available for purchase.

I’ve managed to get listen to a sneak of the song and I must say it’s infectious and it’s probably one of her best works to date.

V Fancy Nadia Almada Of Big Brother Fame, Nadia To Release Single

The boys from V like Nadia Almada of Big Brother fame very much and they have always wanted her to win the whole shebang. The others they say were just too boring. Either that or they were just plain disgusting.

Aaron said “The band and I have come to the conclusion that Nadia’s pretty attractive and she never lets practicality get in the way of glamour.”

“I was thinking the other day if I would like to get off with Nadia? And the answer I think was that I probably would. I would definitely snog her.”

“I’m glad she’s releasing a single. Can’t wait. Pop music is going to be so much fun!”

That’s right. The Portuguese transsexual is planning to release a single, according to newspaper reports. The 27 year old, who captured the public imagination with her gender swap secret and throaty cackle, is being teamed up with a top production team.

Danny Kirsch, the man behind Charlotte Church’s top ten hit The Opera Song, and Stuart Langelan have already penned a track for her. An insider told The Sun “They are two top songwriters and have met with record label bosses who agree that with Nadia on board it can’t fail.”

Delta Goodrem And Her Brand New Single

Soap star/singer, Ms Inncent Eyes, Delta Goodrem has confirmed she will release her brand new single, Out Of The Blue, to radios at the end of the month.

The song was co-written earlier this year by Delta herself and producer Guy Chambers who used to work with the likes of Robbie Williams and Jewel.

The single was recorded in London and it will be available in stores this October.

Twista And His Overnight Celebrity Endorsement

Twista may be on his way to becoming an “Overnight Celebrity” endorsement.

According to Agenda Inc., a marketing company based out of San Francisco, Twista’s hit, Overnight Celebrity has more brand name references in it than any other song this year.

Agenda found nine brand names included in the Twista hit. The brands mentioned are Apple Bottom Jeans, BCBG, Bebe, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Mark Jacobs, MTV, Range Rover and Roberto Cavalli.

Rapper and producer Kanye West also includes a lot of brand names in his songs.

According to Agenda, West earns the distinction for the most name dropping this year. He mentions 19 brands in four of his songs alone.

Foxy Brown Hits Manicurist In The Face With Handphone

Rap beauty Foxy Brown reportedly hit a New York manicurist in the face with her mobile phone on Friday August 27, only hours after shouting at Louis Vuitton sales advisors.

The 24 year old rapper caused a furore at Bloomie Nails on Manhattan’s 23rd Street, following her tirade at accessory giants Louis Vuitton, where she yelled, swore and ‘finger-snapped’ at sales assistants.

Following her shopping trip, Foxy Brown visited Bloomie for a manicure and pedicure, where she reportedly refused to pay for her $35 treatment and was forced out of the store by employees.A Bloomie worker claims, “She was here and she hit someone with her phone in the face. The girl who works here had to go to the hospital.”

Foxy’s spokesperson Marvet Britto denies his client assaulted anybody, but admitted there had been a heated discussion.

He said, “There was a dispute over payment. She got her pedicure, but the woman tried to charge her for both the manicure and the pedicure. She definitely did not hit her with the cellphone.”

Kylie Minogue recently spoke about her favourite song on the radio at the moment and it’s the stunning Mark B number entitled Move Now. It features Leeds born & raised Tommy Evans who currently working on his debut LP.

“I’m in utter awe of this track. It’s just sheer goodness. I can’t help but move to this song. The Bollywood thing in the song makes it so sexy.”

Move Now is the eagerly anticipated release from one of the UK’s most highly regarded & respected hip hop producers, Mark B.This single would be best described as a cutting edge hip hop bullet fusing Bollywood beats with hard edged funk.
