Eminem and Christina Aguilera have agreed that they are both alike, almost brother and sister.
The ‘Dirrty’ singer apparently confronted Eminem at the MTV Video Music Awards a couple of months back. Christina said she spoke her peace with Slim and it ended in a hug.
She said “Our battle was somewhat like a brother and sister fighting, isn’t it. Maybe because we both speak our minds and that can clash sometimes, I don’t know.”
Mario was speaking to the press the other day and he said that he can’t wait for the next American Idol to come back on.
“I saw the first one, checked it out a couple times. Voted for Kelly because she just seem to sing perfectly. In essence, I just love the whole show.”
“I heard the next one’s coming back on sometime in February so that should be awesome.”
He also spoke about his new video “Braid My Hair”.
“The shoot was off the hook, it being my second video and all that, I knew a little bit about shootin’ videos and had a lot of fun experiencin’ the whole thing.”

Britney hit out at the mouthy chart star saying “When I met her, she was really nice. She even sent flowers to my hotel room.”
“Then you know what, the next week she said in an interview that I’m a puppet. Obviously she has hurt my feelings.”
Blue’s Anthony Costa has lashed out at all those people who think that Gareth Gates is the new Elvis Presley.
The pint-sized ‘All Rise’ tunester admitted to us that, while he thinks Gareth is a talented young lad, he’s not as good as some people would have him cracked up to be. He’s also concerned that the 18-year-old Bradford stammerer may start believing the hype!
“At the end of the day, Gareth Gates is Gareth Gates” he stormed. “Elvis was an icon. Gareth isn’t. It annoys me how people say he’s the new Elvis and people bow down to him. He’s only 18 and he’ll start believing that. Good luck to him, though.”

“I eat McDonald’s drive-through at least three times a week and I eat at like three or four in the morning” he admits.
“You get so hungry at night, so you eat, then you go to sleep and wake up with the worst feeling.”
Guess we won’t be looking at any ad deals involving McDonald’s and Enrique anytime soon.

Sal Cinquemani of Slant magazine reviewed Jennifer Love Hewitt’s new album ‘Barenaked’, giving it 2/5 stars.
Sal said, “The album spans sub-genres like a demo tape hell-bent on finding a niche” adding “overriding twangy tonicity, however, suggests it might behoove Jennifer to bust out that country album she seems so eager to make.”
Alicia Keys says the pressure she is under to be sexy makes her sick. The singer says she is constantly fighting with her stylists over the clothes they try and make her wear. And she reckons its a shame that people put appearance before talent.
“See, the amount of pressure I’m under to look good and to be an object of desire is really sickening” she said to reporters.
“I fight against it by saying ‘No, goddammit, I won’t wear that’ and ‘No, I won’t do that.'”
“And I’ll probably have to keep doing this because people try to make you into what they want you to be.”
But the singer admits that her appearance has had a role to play in her huge success.
“If I weighed 23 stone and just had a tuft of hair on the right side of my head then people probably wouldn’t be as willing to listen to what I have to say. It’s true that people look at your appearance before anything else. And I think that’s a real shame.”
Hazel Kaneswaran says she has been inundated with offers of a record deal.
The singer, who gave birth to a baby boy last week, was eliminated from the competition for being ten days over the age limit.
But she says the judges’ decision means she is destined to become a solo artist.
She is now planning to take the rest of the year off before starting work in January.
“Obviously at first I was devastated by the fact I wasn’t going to be in the final ten” she told Heat magazine.
“But the more I thought about it, the more I realised it was a positive thing actually. As far as I’m concerned this has happened for a reason. Polydor Records are interested in me; they have been from the start of the auditions.”
“The actual offer hasn’t come in yet, but I’m sure it will. At this stage I’m getting offers from everywhere too but the baby is the priority at the moment.”
