Tears And Punch Up Between Rejected Male Popstar Wannabes

I can’t believe this.

Boys are officially weepier than girls and are worse losers, at least that’s what the new series of Popstars seems to indicate.

During a recent filming when the contestants were being wittled down to 15 boys and 15 girls, the rejected lasses kept stiff upper lips and put a brave face on things. The boys, however, burst into tears and started a punch up! The judges, including Geri Halliwell, kept well clear.

One of the succesful contestants, Annika Gabbitas, told the papers “As the judges began cutting down the numbers it became clear that the girls were coping better with rejection than the blokes were. The guys broke into tears and a few of them got into punch ups. Everyone was talking about it.”

Geri reportedly was heard saying “Gosh! Boys are really sentimental aren’t they?”

Madonna Believes Guy Is Gay

Madonna suspects her film director husband Guy Ritchie has gay tendencies. The singer told her hubby she was worried about the “strange homosexual undertone” between him and other men on the set of the couple’s new movie.

“There was lots of exhibitionist behaviour such as pulling pants down, fondling bits, hugging, slapping and kissing” she revealed.

Madonna was speaking on a US television show where the couple were promoting Swept Away, which Guy directs.

The ‘Frozen’ hitmaker put her husband on the spot by saying “Are your crew so intimate on all your films? I saw their bums on several occasions.”

She also criticised him for disrupting schedules when they were shooting the film in Malta last year.

“I didn’t appreciate that at four o’clock you guys suddenly decided to wrap the set and run off to watch a football game. I thought that it was terribly unprofessional” she added.

Daniel Bedingfield Surprised By Audience Embracing His Single

While Daniel Bedingfield wrote ‘Gotta Get Thru This’ for the “pretty girl from New Jersey” who now is his girlfriend, the singer tells Chris Chandar of Pulse! magazine that to his surprise, audiences worldwide embraced the song’s unaffected lyrics in ways he never imagined.

“There’s a guy who had cancer surgery, and he said the song helped him through it.”

He also revealed “And a girl who wanted to die. She felt the song was a message from God, telling her to get through it. I didn’t realize that because the song meant something to me, it would mean something to others, and it did. It really did.”

Heidi Sugababes And Her Busty Behaviour

Heidi from the Sugababes had a job to keep herself covered up at the Ibiza Lynx Extended Play Summer Party over last weekend. The 300 sun-soaked crowd were savouring every second while Heidi bounced around stage in a very skimpy black satin top.

This busty behaviour is becoming an ongoing trend as the video for their new single ‘Stronger’, according to Heidi, is very revealing.

She told the Mirror “We all have different roles. I’m a stripper, Mutya is a gangster and Keisha is a heartbroken woman.”

She afterward added “But it wasn’t exactly enchanting filming the scenes. Being part-naked in front of the camera was weird, and very invasive.”

Kelly Osbourne Doesn’t Know Why She Does The Osbournes

Kelly Osbourne got asked by members of the press why she does the hit MTV reality show ‘The Osbournes’.

“You’ve got to ask my mum for your answer to that” she responded.

“Sincerely, I don’t fu**ing know. For experience I guess. It’s like a home video we’ll all get to look back on in 20 years. But it’s weird. I wouldn’t want to watch me if I wasn’t me. I’d hate me if I wasn’t me.”

Like Justin Loves N’Sync

Justin Timberlake spoke to reporters and got asked if branching out solo meant the end of N’Sync.

Justin said “Not at all. It’s never the end. The reason people ask that is because they get used to comparing us with groups that may have been put together, and the thing we keep explaining to people is that we put ourselves together a long time ago. We were friends for a long time before N’Sync blew up as a group, and even if we don’t sell another record next go around, we’ll still be friends. We’re in it together.”

“These guys are my brothers and I love them so very much.”

He also revealed that after releasing his solo LP, he’ll go back to the guys and probably clock in studio time writing new material for the next N’Sync album.

Ms Dynamite Gives Girl Wannabes Advice

Having been cornered backstage at the MOBO awards by a gaggle of journalists, the lady with the sing-song surname had some words of advice for any would-be pop ladies looking to follow in her footsteps.

She told “Essentially, you don’t need to take off all your clothes. You don’t have to have a big bumper or a big bust. Look at me! I have none of those things.”

“Just do your best and work hard.”

Petition To Remove Christina Aguilera’s Video Off MTV

A petition has emerged in an effort to get Christina Aguilera’s new video for ‘Dirrty’ off MTV.

The petition states, “We the normal, civilized people that we are, should ban Christina Aguilera latest slut fest video ‘Dirrty’. This should not be aired to kids on MTV! Some of the things shown in the video are sexual dance moves (Christina pounces up and down on a mans crouch). She is show wearing almost nothing, having girls touch her sexually; She has a big ‘shower scene’ in the video where her and tons of girls are taking a shower almost naked together, rubbing each other suggestively, almost a orgy, nudity (We can see Christina’s butt under a skirt) and the songs content is needless to say dirty.”

Check out the petition, and sign if you agree at the link below http://www.petitiononline.com/cadirrty/petition.html

If you ask me, it’s not that bad really. If you’re bothered about your kids watching it, then turn MTV off or whenever the video comes on. I will definitely sign the petition if it’s shown on Nickolodeon or on Disney.

Michael Jackson’s Charity Single Emerges

Michael Jackson’s forgotten 9/11 charity single ‘What More Can I Give?’ which features guest spots from Britney Spears, the lads from N’Sync, Destiny’s Child and more has finally emerged over a year late.

The track has been on rotation play on New York radio station WKTU-FM for a week. But its appearance does not necessarily signal a release. WKTU-FM have not received permission to broadcast the track, but on the other hand, no one has yet told them to yank it off the air.

Program Director Frankie Blue, a long-time friend of MJ’s, won’t say how he got the song, but he insists Michael had nothing to do with it.

Marc Schaffel, the executive producer of the single, said at least 200 copies were sent to artists who participated and their representatives, and that the song has since surfaced on the Internet.

“It’s a loose train. There’s no stopping it” he told MTV. “But I would hate to see it out there and not do its intended purpose, which was to raise money for the victims of September 11th and children’s charities.”

“Maybe this will give someone the push to put it out” he also added, “because now would be the time. Otherwise, the more it proliferates the more it defeats the purpose, and there’s no way it can raise money.”
